This season finds Converse partnering with the renowned Japanese streetwear brand NEIGHBORHOOD to create new takes on the One Star ’74 and Chuck ’70, both modernized with streetwear, workwear and motorcycle-inspired functionality. The One Star ’74 features a premium suede upper in black, lined with black leather and embellished with a stitched Star Chevron on the quarter panel. Trademark Neighborhood text adorns the foxing tape. As for the Chuck ’70, a rugged leather-infused black canvas upper takes on a “gear shift” toe overlay for extra protection during motorcycle riding. Both silhouettes are finished with a custom NEIGHBORHOOD branded sockliner. Look for the kicks to launch April 6 at Converse retail stores, select retailers and converse.com.
