Big Boi Announces New Album ‘Boomiverse’

Big Boi is back in business. The OutKast impresario has officially announced his third solo album Boomiverse with a brief teaser on his Instagram. While no release date has been set, he has let slip that two new tracks will be arriving shortly. Check out the teaser below.

Big Boi also shared some truly inspired cover art for the singles he has announced so far, which are “Mic Jack” featuring Adam Levine and “Kill Jill” featuring his fellow Atlantans Killer Mike and Jeezy. Check those out below.

Boomiverse will be Big Boi’s first release since 2012’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, an album that featured a huge assortment of guest stars like A$AP Rocky, Phantogram, Kid Cudi, Little Dragon and Jai Paul. So one could say that the bar has been sufficiently set for Big’s third go-round. Stay tuned for further release info.
