That shoe, the Nike KD10, is once again developed from the drawing board of designer Leo Chang. It features the most advanced Flyknit ever made for basketball, combining low stretch, high-tenacity yarn at the stress points, with high-stretch yarn at the collar and across the forefoot. An unconventional lacing system keeps the foot snugly supported to the midsole, while a a full-length Nike Zoom Air unit underfoot is tuned for maximum impact cushioning.
The KD10 “Anniversary” colorway pictured here — celebrating KD’s decade-long relationship with Nike — is marked by a Swoosh featuring intermixed team colors from Durant’s various teams since college. It hits stores and nike.com on May 26th. A white “Still KD” colorway follows on June 1.
