Although brief, fans finally get to see the titular Kaiju in its animated form in the latest teaser trailer. Additionally, all monster designs in the anime will be created by Studio Khara, the legendary team behind some of the Neon Genesis Evangelion movies, as well as Shin Godzilla and Shin Ultraman. As of yet, no official launch date has been announced, but based on the teaser, the anime adaptation of Kaiju No. 8 is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2024.
