Several general release colorways and the occasional collaboration take on the old-school silhouette in each annual range presented. For 2023, it started with a bang as A Ma Maniére ushered in two collaborative takes on the sneaker. Now, we’ve been offered a glance at a new “Field Purple” color way.

Appearing in its typical leather construction, the sneaker balances its signature purple with black while sprinkling in hits of gold as well. The resulting color combination is “Lakers Away”-like in its appearance, however, its particular points of inspiration have not been declared. Black coats the uppermost portion while “Court Purple” covers the mudguard and sole unit. Gold lacing hooks are joined by hits of a golden yellow at the heel branding and outsole.

Early intel regarding the launch of the Air Jordan 12 “Field Purple” points to a July 29 release date via Nike and select retailers at a price of $200 USD. Stay tuned as we await official confirmation and imagery from the Swoosh.
