All the speculation can come to rest now. A group of technology reporters received invitations fromVerizon Wireless today. All for a special press event at New York City’s Frederick P. Rose Hall inLincoln Center next Tuesday, January 11th. Though the invites did not reveal any details about the event, Wall Street Journal confirmed with anonymous sources that the press conference will be the official unveiling of the anticipated Apple iPhone 4 for Verizon Wireless. The Journal also reported that in addition to Verizon Preside & COO, Lowell McAdam, Apple Co-Founder and CEO, Steve Jobs, might make an appearance too.

Could This Be How The New Apple iPad 2 Will Look Like?

To best illustrate the function of their products, accessories manufacturer would often create mockup for electronics yet to be release.  The uncanny resemblances of these mockups are such that they could pass as the “real thing”.  In the ongoing 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) third party accessories label Gopod unveils its latest accessories for the Apple iPad.  However, Gopod also put on display its dock for the yet to launch Apple iPad 2 with a very believable iPad 2 mockup.  Taking cues from purported images and specification leaks, the mockup include front and rear facing cameras, speaker grilles, even down to the model label and A1337 product code.
